Colonel Ramu Ranganathan (Retired) is an alumnus of Sri Venkateshwara College, Delhi University, from where he graduated in BSc (Honours) Mathematics. He started his professional journey with Standard Chartered Bank in the late 90’s. He responded to his Higher calling and joined the Indian Army.

He is an Alumni of Indian Military Academy, Dehradun, from where he got commissioned as an Officer into one of the most decorated units of the Indian Artillery. Later, he went on to command the same unit. During his command his unit was nominated to serve in Israel (Golan Heights) and Congo as part of the UN Peace Keeping Force. During the course of his illustrious Military career, he has served in the operationally, physically and mentally demanding High Altitude terrains of Kargil and Dras Sector in Kashmir and the Tawang Sector in Arunachal Pradesh. In Kargil and Dras Sector, the officer had undertaken some live firing actions during the Operation Parakram in 2001, thereby contributing to the unit being awarded the coveted Chief of Army Staff Unit Citation. The unit was also awarded the GOC-in-C Eastern Command Unit Citation in 2016, for its Operational Excellence, when he was the Second-in-Command of the Unit. Colonel Ramu Ranganathan has led some enthralling military operations against the North Eastern Insurgent groups in Assam, Nagaland and Manipur with immense success, while ensuring utmost safety of the troops under his command. The Colonel has also been face to face with Chinese forces, when he served in Tawang Sector in Arunachal Pradesh.

Colonel Ramu Ranganthan is also an alumnus of School of Artillery, from where he completed the coveted Long Gunnery Staff Course and in the process acquired his Post Graduation Degree in MSc (Weapons Technology) from Pune University. He acquired his Masters Degree in Operations management from Narsee Mongee Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai. The Officer is also an alumnus of Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), New Delhi, from where he completed a course on International Business Management. In the due course of his Military career, he kept enhancing his knowledge and skills by undertaking various Leadership related courses.

With the honor of serving our nation for more than two decades, Colonel Ramu Ranganathan, stepped back into the Corporate World by joining Wells Fargo in the year 2023 and started guiding the Corporate leaders. His journey has taken him from commanding a large military unit to mentoring global teams and leaders in the Corporate World to establishing PR Scholars for nurturing Academic talents and for mentoring future military leaders. At every stage, his mission has remained constant : To mentor, empower and elevate future leaders.
